So I figured I should update...
For those of you that don't know, I'm now back in Iowa working for Polaris. It turns out that I actually did well enough this last school term to make it on the dean's list again. I did drop my overall WAG though...overall right now I have a 93.63. This last term I got a 92.12.
The way here from Michigan was pretty uneventful. Valentine 1 radar detectors kick ass...saved me a couple times driving here.
Here in Iowa things are looking a lot better than they did last work term. It's warming up and all the lakes are open. The fishing is awesome and there's actually stuff to do around here. This last weekend was pretty cool. Lee and I went fishing thinking we'd do pretty well. The only fish that we caught that we were able to keep was a smallmouth bass. I caught it by accident. I went to cast my line but screwed up and let the lure fall in the water about 2 feet off shore in a bunch of grass. The second that lure hit the water the fist was on it. If only it was always that easy.
In other news, the second week of the term my roommated desided to let his appendix go bad in the middle of the night. He didn't even wake me up to take him to the hospital. He got up and drove himself. I found out at work the next day. He's just not having the greatest luck this first couple weeks, but at least he somewhat likes it here in Iowa.
So I found out yesterday that www.thefacebook.com finally added Kettering. In only one day I already have 22 friends on there!! The coolest thing is that I found a girl on there that I was best friends with way back in the day. We pretty much lost contact about 4 or so years ago. I messaged her...just waiting back for a reply. I was pretty happy about the site. Make sure to go check it out and SIGN UP.
