What a weekend!

I'll start off with friday night. I wasn't planning on going out at all, but a few of us ended up at the greenhouse. Nothing big going on over there, but it was still fun. Played some beerpong and hung out. Most of us didn't party too hard since we had to get up the next morning and be on the bus by 7. That's where the fun starts. We all pile on the bus early in the morning for our trip to Lexington, KY to go to our fraternity headquarters. The ride down was a pretty good time. We watched some movies and just hung out. We got to our hotel around 2 pm, but didn't have to be ready to go to headquarters til around 5. We just messed around in the hotel and walked around...nothing big. After 5, we headed to headquarters to check it out and to initiate the pledges. The place was awesome, especially the museum. There was quite a bit of history in there that's associated with our fraternity. After initiation we all packed back into the charter bus and went to this really nice restaurant. Most everyone got this 4 course prime rib dinner...good stuff. Nice thing is that it was free! After dinner it was a free-for-all. People scattered all over the place. Since I knew Katie was in lexington for school, I decided to go hang out with her and talk since we haven't seen each other in a while. It was definitely good to see her. After Ivory and I left there, we ran into Zac and Grant, who were going to a club called South of Broadway. The place was alright, but what happened was funny as hell. It's a decently long story, so if you're curious, just ask me and i'll let you know. The rest of the night consisted of waffles at 2 in the morning with all the field secretaries and such, then watching about 7 firetrucks get lost on teh way to a building that was on fire in between the waffle hosue we were at and our hotel. It was a good time. Today we had to get up all bright and early to head back to Flint. The bus ride home was pretty good...just watched a bunch of good movies on the bus. Now that we're back, all that seems to be left to do is study for tests and such that I have this week. Oh well...
